Well, most of you know that we have started a little farming business for the kids. We have purchased 50 laying hens, hoping for 40-50 eggs everyday. Well, the kids (and we adults) have been a little disturbed that for 2 weeks....NO EGGS! I guess they weren't old enough. But today we got our first egg. Jo and Larry heard some mighty loud cackling sounds from the coop. And, sure enough, our first egg arrived. After Jo cooked the egg the three boys got to eat 1/3 each! They were so proud. Now if the other 49 realize what they need to do........

Wow lol!!!
I love this picture of the boys looking at that one egg in such amazement!! So adorable :) We will be praying for more eggs :)
I was wondering if they would be white or brown. At least from this hen, now we know! Keep on clucking.
